I’m Richard Keay and I founded Keay Roofing Services in 2009 because I saw the need for a roofing services provider built around providing customer satisfaction – and my company has been growing ever since. We now have a core team of seven and draw on additional specialist resources as needed. We work on roofs for both residential and commercial customers in and around Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, but our approach is always the same:

About Richard Keay
As the founder and owner, my number one priority is delivering customer satisfaction. I make sure that every Keay Roofing Services contract is completed to the highest standards possible. I check everything myself.
I’ve been roofing houses and buildings since 1999. Before forming Keay Roofing Services I led a specialist roofing team at Beaumont Roofing which developed bespoke prestige homes. That’s where I learnt the importance of standards, customer service and making sure the right man or woman was on the job. Each project was different and had its unique challenges – I learnt a lot of problem solving skills and what goes into providing a professional service for all clients.
I love all aspects of roofing but my real passion is for working with listed properties’ roofs or those in conservation areas where a thorough knowledge of traditional materials and techniques is critical. I enjoy working closely with architects, building surveyors and local planning officers to ensure that the roofing projects are carried out to the satisfaction of both the client and the authorities.

I see my roofers as the backbone of the business. Not all roofers are created equal. I only employ the best. Then I teach them my customer service values. This means that our work is of an exceptionally high standard but just as importantly our team is always polite, helpful and professional.
We have a core team in place at all times which means we can usually respond to any emergency immediately.
